The robbers went through obvious things like dresser drawers and jewelry boxes. Luckily we haven't had any more trouble on that account, but it did bring to my attention that we needed to start putting items in inconspicuous places. I keep valuables in this canister that I'd prefer not be easily found, if we're robbed again. Its perfect for things like rings and memory sticks. You really don't need the baggie they give you...simply use your own zip-lock baggie. Even better, you might stuff the top part of the canister with cotton or anything cushioning, so that things don't make sound against the sides.
