I had always wanted the yellow seat that came on the "John Deere, but my Sabre came with a black seat. This seat after 23 years started to crack on the corners. The seat frame was plastic vs the original light gauge stamped steel, but the plastic frame is as rigid as the original. The seat is taller than the original which supports my back better. The yellow seat appears to collect dirt marks earlier than the original black vinyl.
