An umami base builds on a decade of research in the Momofuku Culinary Lab, Chili Crunch is packed with the same bold umami flavor and ingredients we use in our restaurants. It’s inspired by Chinese chili crisp and crunchy Mexican salsas like salsa macha and salsa seca. **Q: How hot is the black truffle?**
A: Obviously, "hot" is somewhat subjective, but I would put this on par with or just slightly hotter than sriracha, if that helps.  I wouldn't eat it straight from the jar, but the flavour definitely comes through more than the burn.  It's outstanding, and so versatile!

**Q: Do you refrigerate this after it opened ?**
A: yes

**Q: What kind of oil is used?**
A: The oil used for our Chili Crunch is Grapeseed Oil.

**Q: Does this have MSG?**
A: The ingredients are listed in the description and on the photos of the product. There is no MSG.
