The white cast is very mild and hardly noticeable. It’s a mineral sunscreen that’s easy to apply and spreads nicely. It isn’t overly greasy or anything. One thing I do not like though—if you are a chef, chemist, or anything where you will be working with irritants, be careful. Both this sunscreen and the dark blue Shiseido chemical sunscreen have something in them that make irritants very prominent or adhesive to my skin. When I was in culinary school the onions would burn my eyes so bad I would cry for 10 minutes after the onions were gone. I notice this one is the same.
