A while ago I had noticed discoloration on my 2011 Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab headliner where water was making its way in . After some searching, I removed the third brake light assembly and tried sealing it with RTV, which did not work. I noticed this product on amazon and decided to try it out. Installation took a few minutes with good instructions to follow. Since then I have been thru a few rain storms and no evidence of water. I did price out a gasket from my dealer. They were happy to sell me a new assembly since no separate gasket was available. I passed on that offer. So excellent quality, performs as expected and a great price.
