It works great! I have it mounted on my Kayak and the images are clear and bright. The GPS is fast and works fine. Remember this is not a GPS Map unit! It is a track plotter. There is a big difference in function and price. Go to Garmin's web site and learn about the difference. This Unit is easy to set up and use. I down loaded the Owners Manuel from Garmin's Web site after ordering this unit and was ready to set it up and go when it arrived. You will need to read your owners manuel several times to learn to use all of its features. The only issue that I have with this Unit is the glare and reflection on the screen. It is like a mirror..On the water there are no problems with screen freeze or the unit locking up.
