Either nuts and bolts can be used or glue. I would recommend a 2 part epoxy for aluminium. At the minimum, if you do use gorilla glue or something similasr, scuff the aluminium surface, to obtain a better adhesion. Superglue doesn't allow flexibility, so not ideal.
