I had to use a utility knife to shave off some of the plastic around the plug so it would fit into the jack.(I wonder if that is why some people report it doesn't work?) ### ⭐⭐ Marginal (at best) Connection on Input *by H***1 on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2012* I've had this for a while. When I first got it, I had a real hard time getting the input recognized on my iPhone 4s using any of the Amplitube type programs. I had it working briefly, but could never repeat the limited success.We recently got an iPad 3 and it seems to work much better. The connection snaps in nicely and feels solid. I went back to the iPhone to play around again. No dice. When I monkey with the input plug, I get momentary but weak connections. It appears to me that there is an incompatibility between the plug and the input jack of the iPhone 4s. Sometimes manufacturers vary their dimensions a bit which in this case, I believe is enough to keep things from working. BTW, momentary or intermittent connections while using the iPhone in this manner will either start music playing or call up Siri as they think the button has been pressed on a headset.I spoke to the Woodees folks back when in first had problems, who were nice enough, but only insisted that it works fine. Not much help I'm afraid. I've read other reviews suggesting the IRIG folks are more responsive.
