They hit right at my ankles and looked good when wearing flip flops. They gave me the billowing look I was going for, and I wore them as a swimsuit cover up. Unfortunately, after washing them once (in cold water; did not dry), they shrank 6 inches! Now they look ridiculous on me, and I can’t imagine I’ll wear them again. I wear them around my natural waist and they go right to my ankles.They would get 5 stars across the board EXCEPT that they are a bit itchy. I’m hoping that the more I wash them, the softer they’ll get. I’ll update and let you know.Edited to add- These definitely got softer after washing but they got thrown in the dryer by my daughter and shrunk about 5 inches shorter and also a bit tighter in the waist as well.
