Review: This stuff is awesome! I use it on other hard to kill things besides trees(stubborn crepe Myrtle volunteers) and it works as well.
Review: Took down a black gum tree because it was messy and branchingout over my chimney. It got its revenge by sending out about 500 shoots all over my and my neighbor's properties. We tried roundup in the summer when we first started noticingthe shoots, which did absolutely nothing. Found a university extension report online that said to apply glyphosate/roundup in the FALL and winter, not in spring or summer, followed by this stuff after the glyphosate appeared to kill it (dead looking leaves). For gum trees, it's best to cut the shoots down after the roundup/glyphosate has worked, then apply this to the stubs. It took us over a year to figure this out so I hope I'm this info helps someone. It was a tedious battle but we won eventually.

**Q: How do yoNo body will tell me how to use it, what do you do with th brush. Do you had water?**
A: There is a brush on the cap. Simply cut the stump/vine down as far as you can and apply the stump killer to the open "wound". Works very well on invasive thorny bramble.

A: I wouldn't.  It worked better when it was sunny.

A: What ever plant you want to kill has to be cut close to the roots. Product works best in cut exposed area

Short version "How to use on blackberry vines":
Application Rates: Triclopyr 8.8% Herbicide (active ingredient of Bonide Vine & Stump Killer Concentrate) 2.5 gal/acre (1 1/2 lb acid equivalent triclopyr).
To use for Vine Control: For best results when treating vines such as poison oak, poison ivy, etc. that grow on or around desirable plants, cut the vine first and treat as directed below for stump treatment. Do not let spray contact desirable plants.
To apply as a Stump Treatment: Apply this product undiluted to kill stumps and prevent sprouting. Use a paint brush or backpack sprayer or the applicator top to completely cover the freshly cut surface. After use, wrap the brush in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash.

The product takes some time to work, but it does kill raspberry and blackberry bushes. I snip them off, painted the end with the attached brush, and waited. In a few weeks I can go out and pull them out of the ground (I have pretty loose garden soil). I knew it was working since the leaves on the stumps were yellowing and the cut tips were browning down a few inches. I ordered the two pack and my only complaint was that one of them leaked and the inside of the box was wet on one side. Otherwise, I would have rated a 5 star for the product alone. I'm sure some bushes will come back in the spring, but I will just repeat the easy procedure.
