The HandiHoldall 175L is a premium waterproof soft roof box designed for family trips and outdoor adventures. Extra Space for Camping and Family Road Trips Use the HandiHoldall with Roof Bars Using a specifically designed fitting kit (included) the HandiHoldall is designed to be used with traditional roof bars (minimum distance apart 540mm - max 780mm). Use the HandiHoldall with a HandiRack The combination of the HandiHoldall and HandiRack makes is a more convenient and effective alternative to traditional roof boxes and metal roof bars. Simple to Use and Easy to Store Unlike traditional roof boxes, the HandiHoldall takes up little to no storage space. Simply remove the glass fibre poles and roll the bag up. HandiHoldall Technical Information Dimensions When fully loaded, the HandiHoldall dimensions are 110 x 40 x 40cms. When stored, the dimensions are 59 x 17 x 13cms. Material The outer material is 250D solid Polyester Tarpaulin laminated with 0.20mm PVC. The HandiHoldall is manufactured using the same production process and technology as dry bags, where the sections of the extremely strong and durable material are electronically welded together under intense pressure. This creates a very strong fused bond that acts as a barrier to water and moisture. Weight The HandiHoldall unit weighs just 3Kg. Roof Bar Fitting Kit The Roof Bar Fitting Kit consists of eight straps (4 x 40cm ‘Hi Grip’ rubberised webbing HandiStraps plus 4 x 140cm webbing HandiStraps). The straps required to attach the HandiHoldall to a HandiRack are the pair of 3 metre HandiStraps that are included with the HandiRack. Versatile Loop System The base of the HandiHoldall features a loop system that's been designed for attaching the roof bag to either roof bars or to a HandiRack. Review: Is not completely waterproof so don’t just put clothes in without a bag - The bag was secure on the roof bars with straps provided didn’t budge. Drove from Maidenhead to Croyde wind and heavy rain at one point. When we arrived there was some water in the bottom only small amount, but all our gear was in sturdy bags and didn’t get wet. I put one less waterproof bag in bin liner as someone else suggested, top tip. Overall very pleased solved a problem as I needed additional space but still needed space for surfboards. A bit fiddly getting straps tightened next to the boards I had to clamber on the bag to reach over to do it but it was ok. Great thing was it just packed away into its bag, nice and compact when we got there. I will be thinking of the complimentary bags that are the correct size to go with it next time. Just because with your own bags you don’t use all the space efficiently.

All in all the bag is very sturdy, made of a good material. There is a flap to cover the zip which makes it pretty much water tight and there was a lot of room in it for all our clothes and blankets. It did the job we bought it for and freed up room in the boot and roof box usually taken up with our clothes. Plus made a great storage unit in our tent for all the clothes.

**Q: Do you think this would fit camping chairs in?**
A: Hi Yes it would fit camping chairs. However as it's not rigid, when you tighten the straps it would obviously tighten to the shape of the chairs. It could possibly damage the material, they may move around a bit, so would definitely wrap the chairs in something softer. I have used this several times now to travel to Devon and the best use is to put bags in, clothes shoes wetsuits, then you get full use of the volume. I usually put a bin bag round the bags, just in case. It has poured with rain on the way down and it kept the rain out well. Very very slight bit of water in the bottom but not enough to affect the clothes or bedding. I have to say I am very pleased with it. It sits comfortably next to the surf boards and you can get a surprising amount in it.

**Q: Can this be fitted beside a roof box?**
A: I did, clearly you need the width on the roof bars to accommodate both. Overall weight is something to consider. Insomuch as capacity of the roofbar system and vehicle.

**Q: Will this work on a rear bike carrier?**
A: I used mine on a carrier, on a fiamma bike rack, worked well it is bigger than the bike rack but you just turn it more on its side and it seemed ok

**Q: What is the size of the holdall when in use?**
A: Quite large almost as big as a roof box

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality all weather roof bag solution

Really easy to set up, the bag was slightly too short on length as we could have done with the poles to be longer but the bag secured well with straps. We travelled 1100 miles in total and had no issues in all weathers including torrential rain. We also had room to place a paddleboard bag on top! I'd highly recommend for those who need extra storage for long trips but don't have the capacity to store long term after the trip. Folds away nicely in a portable bag.
