Review: Auto Shut-Off Doesn’t Work - I purchased this kettle because it seemed to be a good product, and what attracted me the most was the fact that it is made of glass and stainless steel. However, the automatic shut-off system is faulty and makes the product unsafe. The kettle only switches off automatically if it completes a full boil. If I remove it from the base before the water reaches boiling point, it does not turn off automatically. That is exactly what happened: I used the water before it fully boiled, removed the kettle, poured the water, and then placed it back on the base. Several hours later, I smelled something burning. When I checked, the kettle was turned on with no water inside. The on/off switch had remained stuck in the “on” position. Most kettles automatically switch off for safety when removed from the base mid-process, but this one does not. Because of this malfunction, the kettle almost burned out and could have caused a fire in my home. For this reason, I am returning the product, as I consider it dangerous and a risk to my household.

I’m really happy with this kettle so far! It looks super sleek on my counter, and the glass design makes it feel more expensive than it actually is. The size is perfect—1.7L is plenty for making multiple drinks without needing constant refills. It boils water fast and is noticeably quieter than my old kettle. The keep-warm feature works well and is really convenient. Overall, great functionality, solid build quality, and it was packaged well on arrival. Definitely worth it for everyday use.

I purchased this kettle because it seemed to be a good product, and what attracted me the most was the fact that it is made of glass and stainless steel. However, the automatic shut-off system is faulty and makes the product unsafe. The kettle only switches off automatically if it completes a full boil. If I remove it from the base before the water reaches boiling point, it does not turn off automatically. That is exactly what happened: I used the water before it fully boiled, removed the kettle, poured the water, and then placed it back on the base. Several hours later, I smelled something burning. When I checked, the kettle was turned on with no water inside. The on/off switch had remained stuck in the “on” position. Most kettles automatically switch off for safety when removed from the base mid-process, but this one does not.
