Great quality, WAY more space/storage than we expected, very nice design, etc! When we opened this, min & my daughter's jaws dropped because although we wanted a pretty big bag, we didn't expect this one had a ton, considering the price & the quality that we've come to know & expect with High Sierra products (since we've bought other High Sierra products before...as a matter of fact, we still have her High Sierra book bag from 3 years ago, still in great condition, which is saying a lot considering that was elementary school years, lol). This thing has more room than she'll probably ever need but will appreciate every bit. It has a great padded shoulder strap & the main part is somewhat padded (although I'm not sure if I'd carry a laptop in it yet...I'll have to inspect it further before I can give a definite yes or no). This is definitely worth the money.I've included pics of it, one of the tag that came on the bag,one of the bag with a fairly large book of my daughter's, in order to show the size, one of my 5lb chihuahua in the biggest of the 2 main pockets (only to show the size), one of me getting almost half my arm inside the zippered pocket on the outside flap, & more. I am a writer with a bad back and this is perfect for me. It holds my small lap top, huge three ring binder, two book sized journals, spiral notebook, writing utensils, money and water bottle. What's really amazing is it's shoulder strap. This bag divides the weight evenly and the strap is well padded and never cuts into your shoulder. It's sturdy. I've had it a long time and use it every day and it still looks brand new. I've taken it on three vacations where I used it as luggage. This bag is also lightweight when it's empty. When I don't want to lug around a big bag, but need my work stuff, I can throw my laptop in along with my purse. The inside is nicely cushioned to protect electronics. There are places for pens and pencils and a nice mesh side compartment for a sports bottle. The hooks at the bottom ensure that you can pack it to the brim without spillage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This bag really is quite large *by K***. on April 27, 2010* As a college student in a rainy area, I really needed a water proof / resistant bag to carry my books in. This is perfect for that, my only complaint is the size. The bag is so wide that it bends around my books and binders. It actually fits me better that way, but it looks a little odd. The shoulder pad, while quite big is extremely comfortable and molds to the shape of your shoulder.
