Also, the hose is less likely to kink, and the steam flows at a steady pace. I keep it assembled and wheel it out from behind the laundry room door to use it. I don't use the hanger as intended, but it is easy to hang clothes with their own hangers on it or on the higher spot intended for hanging. The large water container rarely needs refilling during a steaming session, and I can whip through 20 or so garments pretty quickly. About the only thing I would change is to soften the sound made when turning it on or off, which is quick and easy to do with your foot. Perhaps that loud sound is to warn you should a child mess with it while it is plugged in.

**Q: What type of water should I use on my steamer?**
A: We highly recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your steamer and to prevent mineral build-up caused by hard water (tap water).

**Q: The steam is weak**
A: The X3A is a commercial garment steamer model with 1800 watts of powerful steam. Please make sure to connect it to an outlet by itself with no other appliances. Make sure that the outlet can support 1800 watts.

**Q: I just got my steamer and the steam hose is really stiff.**
A: The hose is made with dual-insulated material to regulate temperature and once you start using your steamer, the hose will become softer.

**Q: The water leaks from the steamer.**
A: Please make sure that the water tank cap is securely attached to the water tank. If it's not attached correctly, the water will not drain properly and would leak.

**Q: How do I attach the steam hose to the steamer?**
A: The hose has a double-lock system. First, insert the hose to the unit. Hold the hose from the base and twist it clockwise in 2 full cycles. Once the hose is locked in place, pull the hose up to make sure it's tightly secured before using the steamer.

So far so good but it has a single pole instead of a double pole like the older style we had. Hope it will last as long as our older model. The wife appears to be happy with it. The steam tube appears to be of much higher quality than the older model. It heats up fast. Weight does not appear to be a problem. It assembles in a couple of minutes. Straight forward design but does not feel as a heavy duty smart commercial steamer. It's too light for that.
