    Noticeable decline in quality

I ordered a tube of these quite a while ago. They came in a tube with a tight lid and the name of the product on it, exactly the right size to hold the clips. The clips were excellent; strong, centered, very well made.  I ordered these again in October 2020 and it's not the same at all.  The clips are not centered, the springs feel weak, and instead of being packed in a branded tube, the clips came loose in a plastic bag with what I can only describe as a poorly made toothbrush holder, which was not only thin and covered with plastic flashing (excess plastic not trimmed by the machine that made it) but also does not fit together, so when I put the spring clips in it, they ended up all over the carpet. What happened to this product?  I am rating this a 3 now; 5 stars for the original from 2019 and 1 star for what I got in 2020.

Yes, they are small but, they're not too small for regular sized fingers to work easily.  The flat face of the functional side is business bits forward, making the hook more accessible while the asymmetrical back side allows your finger to rest against the correct pressure point to activate the clasp.  That's elegant design.  If I could have knocked off one fifth of one arm of of one star, it would be because the black coating will chip and war off of the working surface of the wire clasp so, if you're needing tactical clasps, get the black; I'll go for the un-coated version when I need more clips.
