I fully expected it to be heavy, greasy, and sticky. I almost didn’t even try it and I’m so happy I did. I had been happy using the CeraVe SPF 30 for a while and thought it was a very good product but when I saw they released a new SPF 50 version I figured why not get even more protection while I’m at it. Same brand I already loved and trusted but just better coverage. My skin is sensitive and I have to use hypoallergenic products on my face, so I’m always cautious about trying something new. But this went on just as light and smooth as the 30 did with no stickiness, no heaviness and my makeup went right on top without any issues at all. One pump and I have my moisturizer and SPF 50 done at the same time. Faster morning routine, one less product and my skin is protected all day. So HAPPY! If you’re already a CeraVe SPF 30 fan this upgrade is absolutely worth it. More protection with the same great feel. One small con is that when the bottle gets low it is really hard to get that last bit of product out. Small frustration for something I love this much.
