I ordered it to be delivered in 3 hours and thought I’d try it or take him to the vet in the morning.I gave him half a tablet which he ate (broken in half) and I was surprised he ate it as he’s very fussy.I waited a couple of hours but there wasn’t much improvement so I decided to give another 1/4 - well this he didn’t want to eat! So I had to hold his jaw closed till it dissolved which was fun.There wasn’t much improvement some improvement but I decided to give the next 1/4 but broken up really small and mashed up with a tea spoon of wet food. He finally ate that!So I can’t vouch for the taste- he wasn’t impressed at all.He stopped running back and forth to his wee mat and laid down and in the morning his stools were 1/2 firm and after a couple more hours almost totally normal.So one tablet over about 8 hours and he was feeling much better!Glad to have them in the cupboard incase it happens again.So yes I recommend them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked. *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 July 2026* My dog had bad diarrhea for about 6 days. I gave her this medication as per instructions. The first day, nothing. Second day, same thing. Finally, on the third day, she was all better! If you are squeamish, just stop reading now and note the 5 star review. Amazon would like a photo but if I gave before and after photos of what came out of my dog, you couldn't unsee it. Let's just say my dog never has bowel issues. I think she ate something on a walk. The next day it was pudding texture and I thought, that's not good. The following day it looked like the final day of a colonoscopy prep, if you've ever been there. My dog took a pill in just 2 meals, dinner and breakfast the next day. For her size, 50 lbs., the dosage was 3 pills a day. I never gave her the third dose. There's always the debate...this looks really bad, should I go to the vet? $$$ vs. let's give this product a try. The result -- back to normal in one day. I will note that the tablets are very hard and pretty large. I chose to break them in half to put in my dog's food. Depending on the dog's weight, you might have to cut them. They aren't easy to cut, but a pill cutter might be helpful. Given the fabulous results, this is not a big deal.
