I actually have tried out a few other cases of this type. However, this was blew past my expectations and is amazing. Usually the other cases would offer at least two rows you could put needles in. However, usually if you attempted to fill up both the top and bottom pocket (one right on top of the other), they had made the case too tight and it couldn't be done. Simply not sewn in a way where you could actually utilize all the pockets. This is a common issue.But not with this one! I almost didn't buy it because of its price, thinking it should not cost this much for a double pointed needle case. However, considering I've already wasted my money on others, I see now why this is actually a bargain. It has three rows of pockets. And all of them can be comfortably filled up with needles! It has a side zipper pocket which is incredibly useful. And, the case is easy to close up and actually doesn't allow ANY needles to slip out. While the pockets are a bit deep for those, I modified the holder by stitching a straight line across one row of pockets, but before I got to the zippered pocket. I love the zippered pocket along the side for notions, holders, etc. I wanted something that would be easy to carry with me when I take a knitting/crochet project somewhere. This fits nicely into an oversized purse or bag. I also love the fabric print - I bought the gray with white trees.
