Used them for party favors for our daughter's party. I was skeptical the luminary would work given the weather forecast but I set the bags up anyway. They were all deployed in the snow and then it started sleeting. A candle would occasionally go out before I figured it best to crimp the top of the bag closed directly over the candle leaving a small opening on the opposite side. Worked like a champ. The bags were wet but held up well.
