I've already dropped it once from chest high to to a cement floor and th case and phone remained intact and unharmed, so it's a good protective case. An awesome plus about his case is that you don't need an extender for the headphone jack!!! There is a cutout so any headphone will work with this case!!! Yes it is heavier than most standard cases but it's an additional battery so much that I crew weight is to be expected and a little bit of weight is worth having a backup charge!!! This is a great product. Your phone and case charge all at once when you plug it in. I charge mine at night while o sleep and then I don't need to plug my phone in at all throughout the day. When my iPhone battery indicator gets low I just press the button on the back and bam! my iPhone is charging! I love it because I no longer have to search for an outlet everywhere I go. With the battery charger my phone lasts all day. I only have 4 stars however because the cord that comes with the phone is EXTREMELY short! I mean it is miniature. Since most outlets are low to the floor, and most people want to test their phone in something like a table, shelf or dresser, this short cord makes no sense.
