I bought it to make the Dubai Chocolate (of course). Personally, I thought it was the perfect size bag for a “trail run” of making Dubai Chocolate. The molds I got are on the smaller side so I didn’t use all of the kataifi mixture, but it was surely more than enough. I got 3 bars made, I probably used 1/4 to about 1/2 of the bag. So I have a lot left over yet, and can probably make 3-4 more bars! The kataifi itself was really good, nice and crunchy which I assume that means it’s fresh. I think it was a reasonable price considering it’s not common in the US (at least where I’m from). Toasting it up on the stove with some butter was super easy, only took like 5 minutes! It added a nice toasted flavor. I overall and pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend buying! The only thing I’ll say is, if you’re expecting a BIG bag of kataifi this is not what you want lol, but it contains a decent amount to get you a few bars! It seemed like a very small amount to me.I was using it to make Dubai Chocolate - and I was able to make 6 bars with 3/4s of the bag.It comes already cut up/crushed. It isn’t in a small brick like I’ve seen all of the others which is okay - less work for me!If you want to make Dubai Chocolate, I suggest getting it. It’s already cut up, it’s crushed essentially, so you don’t have to worry about cutting it up yourself, and it’s much easier to measure.The taste was great - it tasted just as it should. And the quality of the product really helped make the bars shine.They were SO crunchy!
