This is perfect! If we would have had the tools to adjust the cross bars on the roof rack, we could have fit 3 carry-on sized suitcases plus some loose items in it. As it was, we still fit two with a lot of other stuff up there! Some surprise downpours on our drive and one more on arrival to our destination proved it was indeed waterproof. The inside seams are well sealed and the fabric inside is coated. I'll probably spray it down with ScotchGuard in the future to help it out. The rain flap velcroes down very securely. Everything inside was perfectly dry when the rain finally stopped and we were able to unload. We didn't use the included lock, but it was nice to have for potential future use. It's also nice to have the extra tie down lines and door attachments in case I need to use it on a different vehicle in the future. The included roof mat wasn't the thickest, but it did the job and can be easily cut down if necessary. The best part might just be the storage bag: all accessories fit in along with the carrier! Helpful hind for getting it in: fold it in thirds, front to back, with accessories and roof mat inside, then roll it up tightly and it should fit in the bag. I'll probably only use it once or twice a year, so having it stowed away in a neat bundle is great. Review: Ask yourself: what’s more valuable than peace of mind on the road? - Protection & Durability: This rooftop cargo bag offers great protection for everything inside. It’s held up extremely well against both wind and rain, keeping my belongings completely safe on long trips. Material Quality: The fabric and overall construction are solid. The straps are strong, and even after almost two years of use, everything still looked and worked like new. Functionality: Very practical and easy to install, even if your car doesn’t have a luggage rack. The included tie-down straps and door hooks make it compatible with a wide range of vehicles. I used it for a long trip across states, and it didn’t budge once. Longevity: I bought this nearly two years ago, and it’s still in excellent condition. Recently, I passed it on to a friend who was traveling across states just like I did that’s how confident I was in its reliability. Conclusion: If you’re planning a trip and need space, don’t think twice. This bag is roomy, reliable, waterproof, and wind resistant. It’s one of the best travel investments I’ve made. ## Features - LARGE CARRYING CAPACITY : Sailnovo Rooftop Cargo Bag 20 cubic feet 51” (L) X 39” (W) X 17” (H) of storage car bag capacity and can hold 4-6 Medium suitcases, camping tents, sleeping bags, and more. - SAFETY COMES FIRST : car roof cargo carrier equipped with heavy-duty buckles, reliable waterproof zippers, sturdy door hooks, and reinforced dual stitching, this car roof cargo carrier ensures durability, secure fixation for all your travel needs. - UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY: Fits most vehicle roofs with crossbars, side rails, roof baskets or no bars. Once we figured out how to pull back the weather seal around the car door frames, fastening it without a roof rack was easy. It was only on the road for a grand total of two hours in fair weather, so I can’t speak to the weather resistance, but it stayed in place and the quality of the construction let me feel comfortable about having my stuff on the roof. Stopped once to check the straps for peace-of-mind and only needed slight tightening, just due to the items settling. For reference, here is what we were able to put in the 20 cu ft bag (see picture): (2) king sized pillows, (2) standard pillows, (1) kid sleeping bag, (1) adult sleeping bag, (1) packable blanket, (1) fleece blanket, (1) weighted blanket, (1) twin air mattress, (1) dog crate bed, (1) full laundry bag, (2) tarps, (1) 10-person instant cabin tent. It was a good investment. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sailnovo Car Rooftop Cargo Carrier Roof Bag, 20 Cubic feet Waterproof Roof Cargo Carrier fit car with/Without Luggage Rack - Vehicle Soft Shell Roof Cargo Box with Tie-Down Strap, Safety Hook - RACOONA Roof Rack Pads, 51"x43" Roof Cargo Bag Protective Mat, Black, Soft Shell, Universal Fit, Not Water Resistant - RoofPax 6 Rooftop Cargo Tie Down Hook Straps for Strapping Down Any Car Top Luggage.
