It will be safe to buy a CPU that works right away with 3.30. Check the Asrock compatibility list for a detail list of all cpus. **Q: Does this board support a Ryzen 3 3200G apu?** A: Be aware that the 3200G (YD320GC5M4MFH) 45~65W will require bios 3.50 to work according to the Asrock compatibility list for the mobo. The one I bought about a month ago came preloaded with 3.30 it was a breeze to upgrade it but you will require a compatible cpu to boot first and them swapped. The other quick solution is to buy one that is operative with 3.30 **Q: Is the bios updated to support Ryzen 5 3600?** A: you can install win10 with the default 3.30 BIOS, but that would cause BSOD during some games. You have to upgrade to 3.60, and maybe you will need to inject intel wifi driver into your windows installation media, before you can install the OS. **Q: How many M.2 Drives does this board support?** A: one, on the back ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ASROCK is now my favorite electric product brand *by C***R on July 23, 2019* I assembled a lot of PCs recent year, I tried a lot of brands mitx motherboard product including ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte. All of these motherboard have some small defects, like wifi not stable, driver need update infinitely, noise etc. But ASROCK is perfect. It has it's own driver installing application that helps install all I need. The on-board wifi is very stable, even-if I sit far from my router. I will always buy this brand in future. ### ⭐⭐ Too expensive not convenient to use *by M***U on April 28, 2020* item works, but it's way too expensive. it's no better than a 70 bucks b450. there is no debug led, no power button, no clear cmos button. i got it as all the other and mother boards were out of stock, and i could't wait for another week.Update after using for 2 weeks.My system frequently went into BSOD during games, after lots of hardware and software testing, even reinstalling system multiple times, I couldn't solve the issue, at last I decided to upgrade BIOS for AMD 1.0.0.4 update.After flashing the new BIOS, win10 went into BSOD again, after some searching, it was due to intel wifi driver issue, I had to inject the latest driver into the os installing udisk. Eventually everything works perfect.Although I took great effort to make it work, the motherboard still is not good to use. My ddr4 3200 memory runs at 2133 by default. I set it at 3200 then it couldn't boot. It continued to reboot and reboot, but never succeeded. Unlike other motherboard like Asus MSI and Gigabyte, if the bios setting is too aggressive the mother board should let you boot in then you can modify it back. This motherboard just got stuck there, I have to reopen my case, get off my graphic card and do the CMOS jumper, the jumper was so small, it took me hours to do once, to achieve the best memory setting, I cleared CMOS at least 4 time.Really can't believe such a stupid product sells at $170, will never buy ASROCK. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mine was new... *by J***E on July 15, 2019* Updated to four stars from five:So I have had this board for two years and it seems they are still selling it, so here are my updated thoughts. This board often forgets my ram speed settings. Default is 2400 not 3200 so I have to periodically check the settings when I reboot my computer or use a utility, it's annoying. This has been true across multiple versions of the bios so I don't see it getting fixed anytime soon. It happens so much that I'm now wondering if my ram is even at speed right now. At the price they are selling this board (then and especially now) I would avoid it.Original Review:Everything was NIB with sealed baggies of stuff. No signs of use on the mobo or the I/O shield.Because this doesn't have an on board bios flash utility, I did have to get a low end AMD g series CPU to flash the board before I could install my 3700x, but that worked just fine.
