Since I've upgraded to this new antenna my hotspot has not disconnected me once! I haven't mounted it, it's just laying on some cloth in an overhead storage compartment. I haven't been back to Georgia yet which is where the worst 4g-5g reception I've ever had is. So I don't know if it can mitigate the poor reception there.
