Review: Early review - Early review: so I can’t give it 4 stars because I knew from the start it was about 2-3 inches taller than the norm for standard bench. However yes it is taller so please keep that in mind I’m 5’7 and when lying down I’m not flat to the ground for my feet. Also yes the padding isn’t soft at all it’s pretty stiff. That being said I think it looks nice and at least mine the build quality on it is good for the price. Easy to build everything was included and I feel secure on it mine does not wobble or anything it feels good and planted. Overall yes it is not perfect but I like it and for the time being it’s solid

Having your own ratchet driver is nice, as the janky wrench they include in the kit is almost worthless. But, you only have to put it together once. Or twice, if you get the feet wrong the first time...

**Q: When adjusting the backrest of the bench can i make it locked in place so it does not become separated by accident?**
A: Yes, the locking mechanism is very robust.  Looks like a thick pin with a great latch system.  I'm 5' 11" and 215lbs and have been hitting the backrest pretty good on crunches - haven't broken it yet...LOL.

A: This workout bench about 30*16*9 in when folded

**Q: Diagram (picture)  shows 2 possible decline settings?  But video never shows anyone doing a decline press movement. How come?.**
A: Yes. You can set the bench for decline too!  This is an awesome bench. We love it.

**Q: Does it come with the elephant?**
A: It's an extremely sturdy bench and may be able to support the weight of an elephant.

I went without a workout bench for decades, and after buying this one, I didn't know what I ever did without it! It folds, it adjusts, it makes every shape you need to lift, push, stretch, and pump iron. I like that it is rock solid, never a thought of it shaking, tipping, or bending under load. It folds compactly and sets up quickly. The only thing is, expect to put the feet on wrong the first time you assemble it (guilty). Having your own ratchet driver is nice, as the janky wrench they include in the kit is almost worthless. But, you only have to put it together once. Or twice, if you get the feet wrong the first time...

The FLYBIRD Adjustable Weight Bench has been a great addition to my home workout space. It’s sturdy, well-built, and very easy to set up and adjust. I use it for everything from presses to core work, and it feels secure and comfortable during every movement. The adjustability and folding feature are excellent—I love how quickly it folds up and how little space it takes when stored. The padding is firm and supportive, making longer sessions more comfortable. One small thing to note: there’s a gap between the seat and backrest when it’s set at certain angles. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, but I did end up placing a folded towel in the gap for added comfort during certain exercises like bench presses or flys. That quick fix worked perfectly. Overall, this is a high-quality bench at a great price, and the space-saving design makes it ideal for home use. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend it to others!
