Review: OK, but I gave it away today - I have an unhealthily large collection of thermometers for cooking. This is one of my more recent ones. It seems consistent in it’s readings with my other devices. However, it’s a bit cumbersome and looks too laboratory for me. It would be more useful if it came with a cable for the removable probe so it could be used to continuously monitor the temperature of food cooking in the oven. It is a standard type of probe connection so a cable can be easily bought, but that’s an extra purchase. How much I like it is probably answered by the fact I gave it away today.

Hatte ein original Weber Teil mit drahtloser Übertragung auf ein Display. Das habe ich dieses Jahr entnervt weggeschmissen und mich für dieses herrliche Gerät entschieden. Einfach zu bedienen, schnelle und außerst präzise Messung, sehr schmale Nadel, geht leicht ins Fleisch. Wunderbar das man so etwas noch kaufen kann und nicht nur auf den Chinamist à la Weber angewiesen ist (der beschert den Importeuren obszöne Margen und den Wertstoffhöfen Berge von Industriemüll - aus der Packung in den Müll). Ich bin mit diesem Thermometer richtig zufrieden und kann es ohne Vorbehalte empfehlen.
