Horrible quality out of the box ! I bought two and they were both extensively damaged. One had a broken latch, both were scratched, one had missing part. When assembled they were weak and very wobbly. So they needed repainting, new latches, and some extensive glueing and clamping and then wooden bracing added to make them sturdy. BUT the hardware - hinges and locks are really the worst, cheapest and flimsiest I have ever encountered. Our 8 lb puppy pushes it open regularly.
