Feels good own, soft, comfortable. There is a lot of control on the amount of compression you need. That is most important. My husband is very pleased with this purchased. Having a workable solution to relieve stress & pain on an arthritic knee is a gift. Some days arthritis is not in charge & and some days arthritis is in charge, no fun. It provides great support and stability but comfort could definitely be better. I wear it a lot for work as I am climbing up and down a lot and after not even 10 minutes of having it on the straps that cross over and around the knee were digging into the back of my knee. I needed the support so dispite the pain in the back of my knee I wore it my whole shift.
