The base of the signet or bridge think is what it's called, is solid unlike most rings at this price where the base of the signet is hollow, or carved out. The base/sizing area is thin compared to the top of the ring so it may be a little top heavy when wearing but I don't mind it. At this price point people there really isn't much too complain about people love to criticize inexpensive items its ridiculous.
