The comforter isn't too thick and its not too thin. Its great for all seasons and is cozy and comfortable. Comes vacuum seeled so it will need to air out and "poof up" for about an hour after opening, but totally worth it. I have a very slick waterproof casing over my bed and the fitted sheet stays in place even with a lot of movement from kids on the bed.
