## Description

Paint box with 6 pearl colours: Stardust (M021), Arabic Gold (M630), Golden Orange (M005), Pink (M018), Apple Green (M020), Peacock Blue (M013). Handmade in Germany by Finetec GmbH Pearlcolors from Finetec GmbH have been handmade in Germany from the best raw materials since 2005. The pearl colours are mixed like watercolours with a brush and are suitable for calligraphy, painting and hobbies. Shimmer Pearlcolors are transparent colours that appear almost invisible on white paper, but almost magically shimmers in the greatest colours on a dark surface. In the painting, the Shimmer pearlescent colours can be used to create outstanding light effects as an accent. Our tip: for perfect colour results, we recommend adding a few drops of water to the paint and waiting a few minutes for the paint to dissolve. The colour 'Stardust' requires a little more water to dissolve than other pearl colours.

Review: Hypnotic Paints - Absolutely beautiful, bought these as a gift to myself. The paints are just lovely to watch. First you should wet the paints for a minute before use, as per instructions on Coliro's website. The paints then can be layered very thickly onto the paper, which produces an opaque metallic shine with great colour. You can also paint them as thin watercolour layers, where the colour is very muted but the shine looks great. One of the paints in this set is purely a "sparkle" paint, so there is little to no colour with it, it is just a silver sparkle paint "Stardust". See my pictures (the grey blob to the side is not part of this set). At the bottom I had some orangey cotman watercolour swatch testing, and I layered some of the "Stardust" paint over it to see how it would look. Cotman watercolours reactivate very very easily so you can see some lifting there, but the effect is still really nice if you wanted to paint as normal and then have some sparkle layers on top. This was tested on Bockingford cold press. A note that the blue especially can look somewhat grey in a thin layer, but in the light it comes up very blue again. I think these paints work best either applied as a thick layer, or probably as the final layer on top of a work painted with non-metallic paints.
Review: Absolutely beautiful on black paper - The gold in particular is absolutely stunning on black and Kraft paper. They're all beautiful colours although what I thought was silver is in fact just glitter and needs more water and doesn't come out as I'd expected. Very pleased with these!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delightful, easy to use and worth the money.

These were not cheap but on first test i am so pleased. I tested them on cheap paper which while it water bended it did not bleed through. I used a droplet of water on the palets to test, waited a min then mixed a little. These will add magnificent highlighting features, and will also blend delightfully. Update: i have since used these to accent on an acrylic painting with beautiful effects
