BUT NOT FOR THE "SLIM FIT". The slim fit shirts run wide in the chest and waist, but NARROW BETWEEN THE SHOULDERS. So for SLIM FIT get one size up to keep the shoulders from binding when you lean forward. Otherwise the "regular" shirts are going to be broad all over so start at your normal size (you may have to get a smaller one, depending).For an example, along with normal sized shirts (XL - XXL for me), I sometimes will buy a 3X to fit over other shirts like a thin lightweight jacket (this usually gives a couple extra inches per side at the chest and waist [4"]). SO, I first purchased a 3X "regular" in this shirt line - there was about 6 inches excess per side [12"], ... it was HUGE!). It didn't shrink enough in a cold water wash and cool dry.NOW linen shrinks even in a cold water wash (hot water shrinks a lot more; its not recommended to hot dry, but that will shrink it even more).For me the combination of a SLIM FIT in an XXL size was the best fit in my case (broad enough at the shoulder and extra loose in the chest and waist (like a normal 3X, that I was looking for, might fit me). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Quality for the price! *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2023* I am surprisingly satisfied with this shirt. I was expecting less quality for the price paid, considering other 100% linen shirts are more expensive. Everything about the shirt is as advertised. As a very slim man (5'8" 130 lbs) this size Small "Slim Fit" is the perfect cut for my frame. It's not too slim and not too baggy, which is a hard fit for me to find. The stitching and buttons seem like they will last. The color is a beautiful light blue. And the linen is of medium density/weight and feels so soft even before I have washed it. If the first cold wash and low heat dry cycle changes my opinion I will update this review, but I doubt it will. I can hardly wait to wear this shirt during my first trip to Thailand, where linen is the perfect fabric to wear in the heat.
