## Description

Product description The 35 inch mast extension is intended for use with the Ambient Weather Station mounting solutions. The three galvanized 1.25 inch (outer diameter) x 14 inch long steel posts have one end swedged for insertion into another post of the same outer diameter. Made of 18 gauge 1008-10 steel tubing, galvanized using the Flo-Coat (zinc-chromate-polymer) process for excellent corrosion protection. When used with the EZ-48 tripod kit, this extension will raise the anemometer to a height of 84 inches, with an effective adjustment range of 72 - 89 inches. Review: Good for getting an antenna a bit higher - It fits the mast holder I have that I pound into the ground in my backyard. The one I have right now is a wire that ties off to the top of the mast. This works well enough for my usage. The pieces slip into each other easily and haven't come apart even in strong storms.
Review: Well Made, Light and Stiff, Perfect ! - SOOO much better than a piece of junk antenna mast I bought at Lowes (branded RCA but a pice of cheaply painted tin made by God knows who). While I did need to use a wooden rake handle/ dowel that fit inside the tube ( after drilling a small hole and using a wood screw to hold the handle in place) to fit my AcuRite 5 in 1 Weather Station on top, this worked well because it allowed my to fix the station on the proper compass beading and keep it there easily. Superior contstuction and thickness ( without a great deal of weight) , symmetrical crimping to ensure better straightness and plumb, rigidity and finish all make this a first choice of a mast !

It fits the mast holder I have that I pound into the ground in my backyard. The one I have right now is a wire that ties off to the top of the mast. This works well enough for my usage. The pieces slip into each other easily and haven't come apart even in strong storms.
