Review: Fast growth. - It's still early, but I followed the instructions and made very sandy soil as directed. It’s only been about a week, and I already have an asparagus stalk protruding from soil. I’ll try to keep you updated as more appear, but overall, I would say it’s of very good quality.

- You will see growth within 10 days. The most importan part of planting these plants is to make sure you have at least 30% sand mixed into the soil. I also include a link for detailed instructions or just call.
- Asparagus plants need three things: 1. Any soil but at least 30% sand needs to be added and mixed well. The sand is the most important part and without it they will die: the soil needs to be well draining and 30 percent sand needs to be mixed thoroughly and plant on a mound six inches apart. I will send a picture 2. The plant can soak in water for an hour and then plant. 3.Plant the asparagus plants 10" to 12" down the further north the deeper and 12" apart and just bury them
- The sand is important and a minimuim of 30% for drainage and winterization of the plant and with out them they can rot and not come back the next year.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Healthy bare-root plants. The saga begins.

April 17, '26: Day -6: Placed order. Delivery date was given as April 30 which seemed a bit far out. I was hoping it wouldn't result in degraded plants. April 23, '26: Day 0: Plants arrived in the mail a week earlier than schedule, so I was happy about that. Plants are well sealed in the package and look great: no mold or mildew and not dried out at all. These look like healthy bare-root plants. My new asparagus bed was already prepared and waiting, so I had them in the ground within the hour. I fully expect these to grow well. It will likely take 3-6 weeks for shoots to appear. I'll be watching. April 30, '26: Day 7: Three plants have sent up small shoots, one in each. Too small to harvest for sure but that will change next year. Seven plants to go. May 7, '25: Week 2: Eight plants now have shoots. The ones visible last week are growing fast. Two plants to go. May 14, '25: Week 3: Nine of 10 plants have shoots, though one is a laggard. The 10th probably won't make it. 90% success isn't bad. I've got 5 Purple Passion from the same company growing in pots and doing great, so I'll replace the one non-starter with one of the Purple Passions. By fall I should know which plants are female which I'll replace with male Purple Passions now growing in pots.
