Trying to followup with the vendor to service/warranty assistance, even to pay to send it in for repair. I will update as that progresses. So far for all the hassle it was not worth the little bit of $$ saved by not just buying the kenwood edition from best buy. As they say on the tv show Peoples Court "The cheap turns out expensive"! most likely out my purchase price and will have to buy the Best Buy unit now anyway. Also as a side note, I original selected this so that I could take advantage of the Android Platform but there seems to be VERY LITTLE support for that available. The cd or dvd doesn't go in, there is no lock that impedes this. This is my fourth unit (not from this seller) but this one has everything BUT a navi sd card and the radio (FM) is horrible (does anyone remember when you could trim your own radio signal, yes I'm old).
