As I write I am heating it up to do my first attempt having test heated it a few times to bed it in and test duration's/temps etc. First off it's a bit fiddly to assemble but not the worst. Sadly there were a few bent pieces which have cracked the powder coat off. The lid is bent so much it rocks on the drum. The grills and water bowl seem ok. They're both a bit fiddly to insert without catching on the hooks that hold them up. But overall I'm pleased with it. First off the temp wouldn't get over 200F no matter what I tried. So following a suggestion here from another review I drilled extra holes in the coal bowl to get better air flow. It leaked smoke all round each join so I have sealed these with heat proof tape and then bent the lid straight and ran a bead of tape round that too. It's now heating and smoking from the vent controls on the top only.
