The flag material and stitching is high quality and much better and thicker than I was expecting. I especially like the simple assembly of the pin/cup/flag. All we needed to do was dig out a 4 1/2 inch diameter hole that was 4 inches deep, sink the cup into the hole and then set the pin in the cup. Due to the quality and thickness of the materials used to make this flag/cup/pin, I anticipate my purchase should hold up well in my son's backyard putting area for several "golf seasons"... but I would suggest removing the pin and flag during the cold/winter season just to make it last longer. Even though my original order was my fault, the customer service person fixed my order and made sure I was satisfied. Great quality. I inadvertently flipped one of the flagsticks upside down, causing it to not be able to screw fully into the bottom half. Note that the two ends have different thread lengths.
