Setting up the county code is a little tricky but once you google your county its pretty straightforward. We get all the alerts as soon as our county is warned. I really like how fast the alerts come across and with 3 volume levels you can tune have it wake up the whole house if you want. Highly recommend this product! Surprisingly good reception with the extra antenna. Screen is nice and bright and easy to read. It's nice and compact size is helpful to place in any number of areas. Has great functionality as you can turn alerts off and on as desired. Seems to be durable so far.

Love the look and functionality of this radio. Works perfect and alerts with a loud siren and information, and it has a plug in alert light that can be mounted on the wall for those that are hearing impaired. Was easy to program the S.A.M.E. codes from NOAA's Government Weather website.
