## Description

Waltons, The: The Movie Collection (DVD)Honesty. Integrity. Family. Stories of a family's - and a nation's - yesteryear continue in six Reunion Movies. Set in the 1940s are A Wedding on Walton's Mountain (will Erin have a change of heart), Mothers' Day on Walton's Mountain (honoring the person everyone turns to when crises arise) and A Day for Thanks on Walton's Mountain (with Robert Wightman as John-Boy). Taking place in the 1960s and featuring Richard Thomas as John-Boy are A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion (as a nation mourns the death of JFK), A Walton Wedding (no big-city Manhattan nuptials for John-Boy) and A Walton Easter (Happy 40th, John and Olivia!). Six warm Walton memories are yours to share. For fans of the family-friendly classic TV series, this 3-disc set features six made for television holiday-themed movies.]]

Review: The last hurrah - Having watched all 9 seasons of the waltons I was almost tearful when it came to and end. I was delighted to discover they had made a couple of one off movies. I've made myself save them for special occasions and to date I have the final one to watch. Brilliant
Review: Very good - Disappointed that the original cast was not in it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pure Nostalgia
*by S***D on 26 March 2011*

These movies are dis-jointed, and very, very tired.BUT no Walton's fan could resist these. An absolute must. The story-lines are poor, and something just does not gel in the relationships between the characters as they did in the series. Of course, this is to be expected, as "The Waltons" must be one of the war horses of Television production. Just having finished viewing the final movie, I felt sad, as all good things come to an end. Nothing for it but to start from Series 1 again, and re-live the whole wonderful experience again. The Waltons has always been a great comforter for me.
