I believe the teeth may be longer and maybe more spread meaning large sections! And you know that means so much for us type 4 girlies with thick hair; getting through large sections equals less time spent during wash day. Great value for money, high quality and sturdy brush. The teeth bend so that it glides with the hair unlike a denman brush or even a tangle teezer. It’s so flexible so it doesn’t snag the hair or any knots; it doesn’t rip through, it stops at the knot.
