I think the small ones don’t know how to climb up so leading them to the food can help. I believe there were 36 alive ones. Which is great for the price. Shipping did take a long time about 3 weeks but for the amount of worms I get I will order again. They also sent me extra food to prepare myself. Great idea if you want to seperate them since they grow bigger if you do.
