Not suction. There is a backing that you peel off the adhesive and place it on the wall. I have not hung from these like in the picture but they are plenty strong enough to hold the things I need held. I have no idea if it can be removed and reapplied. They are clear. They only work on smooth surfaces like tile or glass. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super sticky *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2019* I used these in my shower to replace the suction cups on a shower caddy and to hang our loofahs. They’ve been up for about a week and holding very well. These are a bit different than I was expecting based on the pictures and description. The sticky square part of the hook is quite thin and rigid. Think thinner than a credit card, more like a thin grocery store reward card. I raised one of the hooks less than a minute after it had been placed. It felt like the rigidity of the plastic and the strength of the adhesive would cause it to crack, but I was able to move it and it seems to be holding. I’m not sure if these would be repositionable after more than a day. Also be aware that the plastic itself has a blue cast to it. Overall I’m quite pleased with these, the main thing is that my shower caddy isn’t falling off the wall in the middle of the night.
