Review: Great watch - I got this watch cause I read online that the nickname given to this watch is the “speed racer”. I’m only 19, but my mom put the love for the 1960 cartoon in me. And as a watch this watch is just phenomenal. The driver-esque sporty look of this watch makes me feel good behind the wheel of any vehicle. The highlight of my days is to look at my wrist while driving. And now for the pros and cons (Pros) The colors of the dial have some really good contrast which makes it legible. The durability is actually very good too, I work at a paint shop and I gotta lug around paint cans and other heavy things. I’ve bumped this thing around a few times and not one scratch. This watch also looks good with formal, casual and workwear, very versatile style wise. I can definetly get more versatile looks and wear with this watch with new straps too. (Cons) One con about this is the minute hand, I’m not an expert how to set mechanical watches though. I set the time and the minute hand is behind, I’ll probably be able to set it correctly with time. Also the day/date function is off sometimes, also cause I don’t know much about mechanical watches. All in all, this is a great watch that I’ll be able to get much better at operating and wearing.

However, there were no instructions (I figured how to change the day display from Spanish to English), no warranty card and no invoice from desertcart. Which leaves me wondering how I am ever to prove I actually bought it from the site in the absence of printed proof? Hmmm... Despite that, it's a great timekeeping piece. Good looking, solid (without being heavy), and, once I had a link taken out of the strap, feels good upon the wrist.

Very elegant and a lot of watch for the money. A lot of buyers don't like the band, but I've been wearing mine for a bit now and think it's fine. I may still get a leather one to dress it up a bit
