Review: Great coffee and ingenious pour over brewing method! - Great Coffee! Ingenious brewing method! I absolutely like the brewing method you use with the single open filters. This is very similar to the filter cone method the barista uses at my local coffeehouse, but I can do it at home or anywhere for a single serving. The great thing is that you can take the little coffee packets anywhere - to the office, the beach, camping. Keep them in your backpack or car, and all you need is hot water and a cup. Open the packet and let the hangers rest on the cup, then pour the water. I like the pouring method because the water goes directly into the coffee, as it should be, and you can smell it as the coffee brews. No cartridges or double filters - and no need for a personal or portable coffee maker. Also, the coffee is great! I really like the fact that you get three single origin types and two different blends in the box, and this is great coffee from some of the best places like Antigua Guatemala, Myanmar, Ethiopia and Kenya. The campfire medium-dark roast blend is definitely my favorite. Overall, this product combines great coffee with a very ingenious filtering/brewing method you can do anywhere.

**Q: How are we able to deliver and maintain freshness for 18 months?**
A: We seal each individual pouch with a breath of natural nitrogen, which drives out any oxygen and moisture and thus creates an inner atmosphere conducive to freshness.

**Q: Are the filter bags OK for the environment?**
A: Yes. The filter pouch that holds the coffee is made from sustainable material based on the ISO14001 standard, and the hangers are recyclable.

**Q: Are Tribo Coffees considered 'specialty grade?'**
A: Yes. All Tribo Coffees adhere to SCA standards. We only use high quality Arabica coffees. Our coffees score 80+ when graded by professionals. During roasting our beans are free of defects. All Tribo Coffees are clean, consistent and flavorful.

**Q: My cups and mugs are slightly bigger than typical ones. Do you have any brewing recommendations for me?**
A: Yes, we recommend that you fold the hangers for greater stability. See listing photo for reference.

**Q: Can I steep the filter like a tea bag?**
A: We don't recommend steeping the filters like tea bags. The grind size has been calculated to match a traditional pour over brewing process You will brew delcious cups everytime with approximately 200ml of water at a temp of 92C/197F.

Great Coffee! Ingenious brewing method! I absolutely like the brewing method you use with the single open filters. I bought the variety pack and am in the middle of deciding if I should go for another variety or just single origin. I don’t usually drink dark coffee, but with these amazing selections, I feel like I need to slow down and enjoy the aroma first before pouring anything else into it.
