However, if you have a large cooker hood, it may not give you much extra. I got this, as I am not able to find a carbon filter online that fits the Russell Hobbs RHVSRCH602SS-M cooker hood. Even Russell Hobbs sold me the wrong filter. So this is a good find I think. Only time will tell. Is this carbon fibre safe for that?** A: As I don't know what material the foam is made of or the type of process used to impregnate the foam with charcoal it is not possible to say this product is food safe. Fish tank filler would be a better product as this is save for aquatic life if that helps you. **Q: Does this carbon filter replace carbon filter mounted into frame** A: We use it successfully as a replacement for the carbon filter as the original is impregnated with grease etc and not functioning properly. **Q: What way around. It say grease sheet first then carbon. Does this mean the grease filter is the lowest sheet once assembled with the carbon above it ?** A: Yes, place the grease sheet first against the cooker hood frame, then the carbon sheet. So that when it is back in place under the cooker hood, the grease sheet is what you can see. **Q: Re previous review, is this genuine Electruepart filter in their packaging as in photos?** A: What’s shown is what’s in the package.
