## Description

Why wait for the perfect weather to have a great gardening day? Meet the AeroGarden Harvest, an indoor hydroponic gardening system that grows your favorite plants in water, year round. The Harvest is compact, yet features a spacious grow deck and water bowl so you can grow 6 different vegetables, herbs, and flowers all at once, up to 12 inches tall. This indoor garden produces rapid, abundant harvests thanks to its built-in LED grow light. The high-performance, full spectrum 20W light with an automatic on/off timer mimics natural sunlight to grow plants up to 5x faster than in soil. And to make gardening even easier, the Harvest's touch-sensitive illuminated control panel reminds you when to add water and plant food. The AeroGarden Harvest looks great anywhere, from your kitchen countertop to a shelf in your office space. The garden comes with a 20W LED grow light system, power adapter, one 3 oz. bottle of liquid plant food (located inside seed pod kit), and the Gourmet Herb Seed Pod Kit featuring Genovese Basil, Curly Parsley, Dill, Thyme, Thai Basil, and Mint.

Review: Surprisingly perfect midnight kitchen "nightlight" - The Quick Bottom Line: Yes, I’d definitely buy it again—mostly because it grows herbs, but also because it saves me from stubbing my toes at 2 AM while looking for a snack. The Pros: • Navigation: The LED grow light is bright enough to light up the whole kitchen for a midnight snack run to the fridge. • Compact: It has a small footprint; I put mine on the kitchen counter and I warned my neighbours to ignore the bright light in my kitchen that I was becoming a vegetable mama. • Set-up: Super easy to get started—basically "plug and play." The Cons: • Brightness: Be warned, the light is bright. • Pump Noise: You can hear a tiny trickle of water sometimes to me it sounds like a mini waterfall.
Review: Fun Longterm Activity For All - Great product and fun activity. It works as intended and I had no problems while using it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these actually grow herbs or do they just kinda die slower?**
A: We get more herbs than we can use-take some to work, feed remainder to hens (their cages will smell like a pizzeria-kinda). They grow for about 90 days (my experience), so at about 45 days plant new ones.

**Q: The lights on the control panel are on continuously, is that normal?**
A: Yes it is! The "Add Plant Food" light is green, the "Add Water" light is blue, and the "Light On/Off" is white. When an action is required, the light of that button will blink red.

**Q: Did any of the pods got some mold on it?**
A: This is actually addressed in the directions. It's normal to have growth on the pods and a positive sign! Hang in there if you see this. It means your plant should soon sprout!

**Q: Can you grow organically with this?**
A: Yes. Our nutrients contain no harmful pesticides, herbicides or other “funny” stuff. The FDA has procedures for classifying plants as organic, but nutrients are not regulated in this way. AeroGrow nutrients are made from mineral salts that provide iron, calcium, magnesium, and other “vitamins” that life on earth need to flourish, in exactly the right amounts for your plants, derived from sources that ensure high levels of consistency and purity. Our seeds are sourced from large and small vendors from around the world. Many are heirloom seeds, organic sources are chosen when available, and GMO seeds are never used. We also have a Grow Anything Seed Kit available so you can plant your own seeds!

Great product and fun activity. It works as intended and I had no problems while using it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grow your own food at home
*by A***R on 2 June 2022*

I received one Aerogarden Harvest as a gift from my in-laws for Christmas. It came with the heirloom salad greens kit. We had sprouts less than 1 week after starting, and it provided salad greens for nearly 4 months before the plants matured and stopped producing more leaves. This provided 2-3 large salads per week for two adults. Some weeks we had 3-5 small side salads for two adults, per week. The lights on the base tell you when it needs more water and when to add more food. I have a reputation as a black thumb and it made me really happy to have such great success with growing plants. In 2022 I think everyone should be doing something to produce some of their own food, due to the supply chain crisis and crazy inflation rates that just keep going up. It's added a lot to my peace of mind knowing if nothing else I can grow my own salads. I realize it will take a while for the savings of my grocery bill to offset the initial cost of the aerogarden, but it's really empowering to feel that I can provide even a little of my own food right now. I have enjoyed the Aerogarden so much that I ordered a second unit which I have been using for growing herbs. I got the herb kit from Aerogarden and had very mixed results with this. The mint got an aphid infestation after a few weeks, when the mint plant was very large. This surprised me because all the articles about aphids that i read suggest adding mint to your garden because aphids are "supposed" to dislike mint. The dill and basil grew INSANELY well. I've harvested and dried dill and basil three times in the past 2 months. I filled 5/6 trays in my Cosori dehydrator with each batch. The thyme has stayed very small and the parsley also didn't grow very well. So, I think that the success of the Aerogarden is a bit situational and depends on the type of plant you are trying to grow. Salads are easy and very successful. Herbs.... your mileage may vary. Also, the size of the plants can sometimes be a hinderance to the growth of different plants in the same unit, or easily harvesting the leaves. I had a much easier time harvesting when the entire planter had only the same type of plant growing in it. For example, the basil plants got so large that they completely shaded the thyme and parsley because these grew much slower at the start of the garden. The basil had so many leaves that I had a little difficulty accessing the plants in the center of the planter. So I don't think i will ever try to grow large plants such as tomatoes or peppers in the aerogarden, simply for the convenience of being able to easily access any other plants in the unit. i am actually considering buying a THIRD aerogarden so I can have two units both growing a large variety of salad greens so that we have enough greens for two adults to have a large salad every single night.
