Why Elite screens are the better choice *by S***L on 18 December 2023* Bought the 150” screen which is about 11.5feet long and 7 ft high. This screen will cover a wall. I bought the Elite brand because I went based on reviews and product description. The screen weighs about 75lbs. You can mount it flush directly onto the wall with the anchors it comes with but it’s best if you can mount both side onto a stud. I ended up buying brackets to mount to the wall and the screen hooks on to the brackets so it sits about 2-3” away from the wall. You will need two people and possibly two ladders to install something this big. It comes with the remote which can be programmed to descend and ascend as you turn your projector on and off. The picture quality is excellent. Very opaque like professional projector screens you see in schools but with larger options. Easily viewable from any angle, no ripples, wrinkles, or distortion in images with this screen. Our other foldable screen doesn’t even compare. Don’t waste your time with other lower priced screens. There were other lower priced competitors but the shipping costs were so high you don’t really save much. I’m glad I went with the Elite brand, shipping was faster and handled with great care put right into the entryway. We enjoyed projecting movies on the wall before or even using the old fabric screen, but nothing compares to this motorized professional quality screen.
