I reworked the fretboard (aligned, re-crowned, and polished frets, treated wood etc), and lined up the front cavities with copper tape, changed bridge and tunners then threw this on, and got to playing... and then the 1st and 2nd position didnt work. The reason the 1st and 2nd positions didn't work, however, was because the copper lining i installed was touching the selector switch. Threw some electrical tape, re-assembled amd EVERYTHING worked perfectly.
