As much as people complain, I have one of these and it isn't that big. You can also get a USB-C male to USB-C female extension cable and keep the adaptor away from the camera. For me the ability to charge while using an external MIC is better than having a small adaptor... **Q: This is a $50 part. Why the 400% markup? Holy price gouging!!** A: Might has well get th GP media pack. Same price w/other accessories **Q: Will this work on the Hero 9?** A: Yes, it will.
