I was looking for really sharp cuticle nippers that don't cost a fortune. Almost every one that came up on my search had a bunch of reviews that were by people who had been given free products in order to provide reviews. Whether or not they were obliged to be positive, I still wasn't convinced. These nippers, however, are exactly as advertised, very sharp, and I'm extremely satisfied. And no, I was not given anything free, nor given a discount.

I used to be a loyal Tweezerman fan. Once they stopped manufacturing them Germany, the quality has been spotty. Some nippers were good-ish and some were just horrible but they were better than anything else I had tried. I recently googled "cuticle nipper review" and saw that Got Glamour had the best reviews and they were made in the USA. I thought I'd try them - and WOW! So glad I did!!! I love these nippers. I replace nippers when they get dull so I've been through a lot of Tweezerman nippers (Tweezerman no longer supports their sharpening program, although the last bit of packaging I had still says it does). Anyway...I'm buying some for my mom and my sister for holiday presents. I purchased the full jaw (usually I buy 1/2 jaw and I'm really liking the full jaw) with double spring.

What the heck??  This is not "professional grade" cuticle nippers.  I have always bought expensive, high quality cuticle nippers on the theory that you get what you pay for.  Well, that theory is true.  These were a lot less expensive than what I'm used to paying, and I got what I paid for, a cheap, inferior quality nipper.  How disappointing.  I would return them if I hadn't already thrown away the packaging.
